Envelopes
Our systems process different envelope types and dispatch bags, in order to package products such as cards, passports or paper documents ready for shipment and already postage-optimized. However, also the envelope itself can be further processed in various ways by the extensive function range of our systems as if it was itself a product.
Of particular relevance here is a reliable quality control, and the correct compilation and grouping or personalisation of the envelopes.
Our basic functions
Verifying & quality control
We identify and examine products according to identity, presence, optical features and quality. For this purpose we use different identification systems such as video cameras or bar code readers. Also physical features in the material like RFID elements or weight or form can be examined.
With the systems we use, products with centrally stored identification numbers and specifications or information contained in databases can be compared with the recorded data and their correctness checked. Further features which we check include bar code, OCR, printed elements, labels and other quality features. Through a comprehensive quality control faulty productions can be avoided and the highest product security can be guarantee.
Personalization & characterizing
With the personalization of envelopes different technologies are used. From the marking by way of dispensed label, through printed labels or holograms, and up to variable printing methods, we offer a wide range of all usual personalization procedures.
The intelligent database support facilitates selective personalization. Our modules for personalization or customization can be integrated into almost all systems and allow thus also a flexible enlargement of possible fields of application.
Sorting & Grouping
With database support, predetermined envelope groups can be formed. Resulting from this, dispatch groups can be put together which save on postage costs, and which can be prepared for chosen further handling (e.g. collection by courier services) or for dispatch.
As an option, including separating strips, or staggering the groups or sequences, makes them more visible.
Sorting enclosures
Through the selective enclosure of advertising flyers or paper documents, envelopes can be filled appropriate for the receiver. So you can avoid wastage through unwanted post by enclosing only targeted documents, policies printed invoices or delivery notes, retour vouchers which were individually selected. Thanks to the modular structure of our machines, enclosure functions can be integrated into many of our mailing and dispatching machines.
Packing & sending
We process pre-enveloped shipments, or envelopes which are filled during the processing activity and which can be sealed using wet adhesive or cold glue.
We offer a solution also for the enveloping of already sealed DIN envelopes in C4 or C5 dispatch bags. This can be an advantage when large amounts of shipments are to be sent via alternative dispatch or courier services but because of government guidelines may not be delivered in certain formats.
Before the dispatch, the shipments can for example be parked on deposit bands or in post boxes, or can be banderolised for individual applications.
