The DPS-SMART is a true plug-n-play laser personalization System for cards and passports. The DPS – SMART can install multiple laser sources with different technologies: DPSS, Fiber laser, special sources to mark on plastic materials. Different versions are available to address card and passport project needs. With a card transport speed up to 800 cards/h, the DPS – SMART combines the dimensions of a desktop machine with the performance of a central issuing machine. The true plug-n-play modularity allows a scalable approach to the personalisation with investment optimization.

The machine can be used to personalize both cards and passports thanks to a very easy module exchange. The change operation is extremely easy and tool-less. DPS-SMART is a perfect solution for the optimisation of decentralised document issuance being able to personalise all the most important ID and Travel Documents.

The DPS – SMART PASS is the perfect solution to
address specific needs of laser engraving and inkjet
printing personalisation for passports.
Different laser sources with different technologies
can be installed: DPSS, fibre laser, special sources to
mark on special materials.
Different configurations are available depending on
the project needs. Multiple DPS Smart Pass systems
with automatic booklet feeders can be a viable
alternative to a central issuance system; reducing
capital investment and providing a backup concept.

The machine can install different types of laser source in order to provide to our customers the flexibility to choose the laser source that better adapts to their needs. Different materials and different artwork may require different types of laser sources.
