Live Demo of the C8000 – Rare Modules for Card Mailing May 5th
What to expect during this Virtual Visit? This time, our team will demonstrate the granddaddy of all C8000s – the biggest card mailing machine which we have built in some time. Our star of the Teams screen, Ronald Duee, will explain in a simple way what is special about this complex machine.
We will be able to demonstrate:
- a “normal” card mailing job with one or two inserts
- a more complex card mailing job using the machine’s eight inserting stations selectively
- a job attaching and inserting metal cards (yes, really running them!)
The C8000 needs to be able to handle all jobs which the customer currently runs on unsupported Ga-Vehren and Kern card systems so it needs maximum flexibility. The machine can match cards to carriers – this is standard – but this system also features two additional channels for personalised documents: a friction feeder in the inserter with matching and a second carrier channel which can feed, read, collect and fold additional personalised documents and match them to the main document.
