Smart sorting for an optimal utilization

A sorting of products can make sense for different applications. Cards, for example, allow themselves to be sorted from “rainbow decks” into pure-type piles so that they stand ready for further processing steps. By a subsequent personalization, the job feeding time will be shortened considerably and an optimal utilization of the personalization system will be achieved.

Individual possibilities of sorting

Ready personalized products and shipments can be sorted to make possible an optimal grouping for the final dispatch. The parameters for the sorting are job-specific and can be selected individually for your application. Sorting according to post code, weight, government office, receiving central point or country of destination are just as possible as a special sorting for different transport or courier services. Individual products can also be selectively withdrawn in order to guide these to a special subsequent treatment.

Optical marking for unambiguous allocation

Ready-sorted groups can be made optically visible in different ways. Here we use, for example, separating cards or strips, optical markings on envelopes, stagger-placing of products, or simply by parking the products on parking bands or in post boxes.

Variable packing options

Variable possibilities are also available for the packing of products. Cards and passes, for example, can be bundled and banded in shrink film, blister packs, shipping envelopes, cartons or boxes. Intelligent sorting helps to sink transport costs, to efficiently utilize your facilities, and to reduce manual interventions and consequently to minimize the sources of error associated with that.
